Review: “Change or Die” Alan Deutschman

Change or Die by Alan DeutschmanReview: ” Change Or Die” Alan Deutschman

Change Or Die provides an interesting look into society’s and individuals’  inability to change, even in the face of devastating consequences.  Alan Deutschman takes three different scenarios – business, corrections, and health care and gives enlightening examples that contradict our current concepts and beliefs regarding individuals’ ability to change.

Deutschman uses a step by step structured approach using examples from leaders in each field including Dr. Dean Ornish, the Delancey Street Foundation, and Mimi Silbert, to name a few. Progressing through the book one goes from the traditional concept of less than 10 % percent able to change,  to with proper techniques,  expecting upwards of 75% percent change. If we could consistently achieve this success rate we would totally revolutionize our prison systems, healthcare, while increasing our productivity as a nation.

A big stumbling block to optimal health is making the necessary lifestyle changes. An unwillingness and an inability to change and adopt new lifestyle habits is a major reason why so many are in such poor health. Seventy-five percent of how we age and how well we age is dependent upon the lifestyle choices we make. Change Or Die  provides valuable insight as to why so few are able to make a life-saving change.

Change or Die is book that everyone would benefit reading at least once if not twice. Tools are offered that are easily incorporated into medical practices, businesses both large and small as well our personal lives. Change Or Die is a can’t miss book that could just save your live.

Change or Die is available through Amazon from our website.  Click the image to order.
