Tips for a Healthy Valentine’s Day
This post we are going to share with practical tips to make this Valentine’s Day more enjoyable and healthier.
1) Nutrition and Exercise Plan
We are still a week out, plenty of time to start a course to get healthy, feel better and look better for the one you on Valentine’s Day.
A diet which is low glycemic combined with a workout program can get you on track to being healthy and happy. When you feel better about yourself you are better company.
Men who exercise have been shown to delay ED problems for up to 10 years. When comparing exercising individuals with TV watchers 4-6 hours versus 20 hours of viewing TV there was a 30 % decrease incidence of ED this also correlates to heart disease.
 2) Hygiene
Here’s something we often forget. There are some simple things we can do to increase our attractiveness on Valentine’s Day and beyond while improving our health. Good oral hygiene with a combination of brushing and flossing is associated with decrease in cardiac disease. This will also up your chances of making an intimate night of it as well, nothing like halitosis to block your chances of being close with the one you love.
 3) Plan Ahead
Stress has been shown to be as bad for your health as diabetes and obesity. Planning ahead will decrease the level of stress for both you and your partner. Make reservations now for Valentine’s Day, check to be sure your favorite suit is clean and by all means if a sitter is needed arrange for
it now. With all your pre-planning, the night should be smooth and stress free.
 4) Aphrodisiacs (oysters)
We often hear about certain foods having the power to make our partners find us irresistible or make us perform at a super level. Fact of the matter is they really don’t exist. Try to consume alcohol in moderation and to eat a sensible amount . These two things will not only make you perform better but also make you more attractive
Alcohol moderation: leads to decrease in incidence of heart disease and ED. When compared to heavy drinkers or tea totallers moderate consumption of alcohol was better
In large amounts alcohol decreases inhibitions but causes vaso-dilation leading to good blood flow for erection but inability to maintain
the erection secondary to venous leak. Alcohol is also a central nervous system depressant.
Chocolate Dark : Has the ability to produce nitric oxide which increases blood flow decreasing hypertension, bad cholesterol, decreasing incidence of erectile dysfunction.
5) Chocolate, dark
If you insist on getting chocolate for your loved one this Valentine’s Day make sure it is dark chocolate. It has been shown that this chocolate has anti-oxidant properties. It has been shown to decrease blood pressure and LDL cholesterol . All you need is 3.5 ounces to get the benefits
and that equals about 200 calories.
