In How To Achieve Healthy Aging Neal Rouzier, M.D. shows how you can look and feel great after age 40. A pioneer and expert in hormone replacement therapy, Dr. Rouzier provides a straightforward guide on achieving healthy aging through hormone optimization. This is an excellent book for those just learning about hormones and their benefits.
The book is replete with scientific evidence supporting the use of bio-identical hormones to prevent and treat disease. In How To Achieve Healthy Aging Dr. Rouzier reviews the role of each of the major hormones and why it is important that these hormones be at optimal levels in order to achieve optimal health.
The health benefits of DHEA, progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, thyroid, and melatonin are thoroughly reviewed as well as the signs and symptoms that occur when these key hormones are suboptimal.
Dr. Rouzier includes many case reports of patients he has treated to better illustrate and personalize the human toll suboptimal hormone levels can create. Dr. Rouzier also discusses the safety and efficacy of bio-identical hormones and provides clarity to the confusing findings of the Women’s Health Initiative.
Dr. Rouzier is a frequent speaker at anti-aging medical conferences and through his three part course, Mastering The Protocols For Hormone Replacement Therapy, Dr. Rouzier has taught many physicians the nuts and bolts of bio-identical hormone therapy.

I read the book and have been going to a medical group who were trained by Dr. Rouzier’s program.
I’m hearing a lot concerning class action law suits for men who have taken testosterone. I’m hoping the problems do not include bio identical.. Your thoughts??
Thanks, Russ
The studies showing an increase risk of cardiac events with testosterone are poorly designed. There are studies all the way back to 1942 that show testosterone is protective against heart disesase. Because of the increase in testosterone presciptions being written I’m sure the lawyers see dollar signs. Go to this link to access many of the published studies that show testosterone to be safe. You have to be monitored closely if you are getting testosterone replacement. It’s important to have estradiol levels and DHT levels drawn. In one recent study 60% of the men had no follow up lab work. I think you have nothing to worry about.
