Most everything on the news and social media is negative. There is no reason to “listen” to it 24/7. Remember the new is old. It already happened. There is nothing you are going to change what has already happened.
There are plenty of ways to stay connected to those who matter most to you. Check in and see how they are doing. You may be experiencing similar difficulties you can discuss and learn from each other during this pandemic.
If you are having issues related to the pandemic be sure to get them out in the open. Others may be able to help you.
Going back to decisions – don’t make major decisions when you feel stressed more than usual for you. It is tempting to make a decision for the sake of making a decision but it is less likely to be a the best decision when made under duress.
Take short but frequent breaks to recharge your body, mind, heart, and soul. Be sure to eat well and find creative ways to exercise which is a way of refueling your body.
Focus less on yourself and more on others. By helping someone else through this time you may find answers for your own problems. Realizing others may have bigger issues than you puts circumstances in proper perspective. Plus, it is not healthy thinking only about yourself. You were put here to help others.
Control what you can control. That’s all you can do. Trust God will handle the rest.
